I don't understand all the haters. Its a sport bar, if you want fine dining and beautiful decor your in the wrong place. The food is really, really good for sports bar food. The bar is fun, TV's where they should be, etc. Its a great place for lunch, or some beers at night. The owner who works there is incredibly friendly, and knows a lot about football! It is what it is....a great sports bar. Go with a group, or by yourself to watch a game and have a beer.

I came here for lunch. It was a little disorientating because the main entrance is not the one that is eaiest to access from where a lot of the parking is. Anyways, I got the buffalo tossed chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips (i got the lightly breaded version) were some of the best I've ever had. Super juicy chicken and crispy breading. The fries were too greasy but still really good. Server was super friendly. Seems like a nice place I'll probably come back and try their wings sometime.

Been here a couple of times. Ordered my burger "bloody" and got it that way. Good burger (how hard is it to f#ck that up). Not gourmet dining but totally adequate when I was in the mood for a burger

Walked in for the first time on Saturday night and found the place to be really odd. When you walk in the north doors you find yourself in an empty dining area but can hear the bar crowd. You can then walk around to find the staff and regulars. There was a drunk upper middle-aged couple dancing near the bar, for no other reason than they apparently liked the song. They had a "power hour" special, which was $1 well drinks. Definitely not a bad price. My whiskey sour tasted like straight sour mix. My friends thought their drinks were just ok even at the $1 price tag. I kept getting whiffs of marijuana smoke coming either from the kitchen or the back door. And the wait staff looked like they were in high school. The crowd was this strange mix of middle-aged folks and kids that looked like they just had their 21st birthday, or at least that's what their fake IDs said. This place is fairly close for me, but I don't know that I'd be back. Just a weird vibe there.

Stopped here for lunch. I had a hamburger and it was fine. I doubt I will go back.

I am confused by the name is aII would say. And there was no tunes playing on a Friday night. For a sports café I would hope for a foosball or pool table... or even a dart board. Pretty lame and boring. Bummer since it is a stone's throw from our new place. Service was slow and the heat was cranked up and venting directly on the bar top, made it incredibly uncomfortable.

Their wings are my all time favorite wings. I have tried much of their food and really enjoyed each dish. They have good prices for food and drinks. I'm unsure about their mixed drinks as I usually drink beer. They are updating their TV's before this years football season. It's a great place to get a meal and watch the game. The staff is very friendly and I've become a regular here over the past few years. It might get it's 5th star after the update, but I'll wait to see.

I would have liked to give more stars because the food is pretty good, and our waitress was very friendly... However, the food took way too long to be served when there were only six people in the place. On top of that, the cook was standing right outside of the back door (with it open) smoking a cigarette ... the smoke just blew right in. Kind of a turn off.

Food and service is really good. Philly Cheesesteak is one of the best I've had. Waffle fries and homemade chips are great. They have updated their TV's so it's great place to catch a game. Owner is usually there and is very friendly.

Great local place (easy, friendly), but the selection is lacking and they run out of things a lot. We waited 40 minutes for wings, but they were amazing.

I've had ok meals here- and some not so great. It used to be much better. Beer is a bit pricey- but selection is ok. Not the best place to watch a game- lighting is dark, the bathroom is usually filthy, and mood not as festive as I'd like.

This place is a great, hometown bar that serves good food as well. All American is perfect for watching a game or just hanging out with friends. I've probably gone here about a couple dozen times and I have never been disappointed. The bartenders have always been friendly and it's nice to see the owners getting involved in the service. The wings are also the best I've had in Colorado. I will definitely go back here when I am back in the Colorado Springs area.

This place is probably one of the worst places in Colorado Springs. The food is just ok, but the service is absolutely terrible. I'm not talking about the waiters either the management it just rude, inconsiderate, and totally condescending. Fellow yelpers steer clear. Stay hungry my friends.

I stopped by to kill a little time while I waited for my wife to get off work on a Saturday at 5pm. The place was completely dead. No beer specials, at all, even on a Saturday, during college football? This is a sports bar right? That boggled my brain. Their food seems to be priced extremely high. The bartender lady was nice enough but she was s bit pushy, even after i asked for few minutes to look at the menu. Since I didn't feel like blowing $15, I just tried a bowl of their clam chowder. I had to wait about 20 minutes for it, but it was huge, hearty, and delicious. I found out later that it was homemade and I could tell bc it was really good. The service is friendly, but they seem to disappear for like 20-30 minutes at a time. Good thing I really wanted to pay for my soup bc I could have walked out and they wouldn't have noticed for a half hour. Lots of teenagers hanging around the bar area and an older guy sitting at a bar table with papers and a computer spread out...never acknowledged me the whole time i was there. Family members of the owner perhaps? This place seems to be casual, a little too casual for me. Don't come here for service, but the food seems to be pretty good, and they have plenty of TVs and seating. So when you do come...make sure you come well before you are hungry and flush with cash!

This place is really close to our house and we don't come here as often as we should. The service is somewhat slow but always very friendly. It is a fun place to go with good kids and adult menus. The buns they use are excellent and they have recently begun serving hand cut fries-- delicious! Our favorite is the french dip but I recently branched out and tried the (green) chile burger. This is some gooooood n spicy green chile. I was prepared to be disappointed by it but I think next time I come I'll skip the burger and order a bowl of the green chile! The burger itself was good, though-- good quality meat and didn't seem to be a pre formed patty. And absolutely HUGE. I imagine this is a fantastic place to watch sports. It has a nice homey feel to it. The food is great. Just keep in mind that this is BAR food!! Don't go in here expecting a high class 5 star meal. It is what it is. A sports bar. With better than average sports bar food.

A-OK if you just want a quick burger or sandwich with a fully stocked bar. The bartender is also your waiter and be prepared to be treated like a regular off the bat. I had the pan seared cod with lemon pepper veggies and rice. The fish was overly salty for my taste but satisfied my midday hunger. I have a feelling AASC gets very lively at night with Texas Hold-em and Karaoke nights.

I gave this place another chance and I've got to agree with the other postings about the service (or lack there of). We sat outside and enjoyed the nice Spring day and our server was totally disinterested in serving us.......she sat inside and visited with a male companion the entire time. The food is good but the service brings this place down to an unacceptable level.......how they are staying in business with quality places right up the road is a mystery. Don't waste your time......look for better options!!!!!!

The food is standard bar fare (chicken fingers, sliders, club sandwich, etc.,), and mediocre - not even particularly tasty, but no food poisoning yet so... that's a plus? The service is what's REALLY amiss about this place. Despite a lackluster location and nothing really cool about the bar to speak of, the owner and her employees seem to want you out as quick as possible. In general, you will be asked if you want another beer when you are one third and one half through your beer. If you say no both times, they bring you your check. This is, as usual, what happened this evening, and this is the best (I'm not exaggerating) service I've received while there. My favorite memory of the Sports Cafe is when I went there with several friends (it's sadly a very convenient place to meet up) in the early spring. The bar was possibly busy by it's own standards, but not by any reasonable standards. We bought a pitcher of beer and several of the glasses that were brought out were significantly chipped or had lipstick marks on them. We sent them back, and they brought out more glasses that ALSO had chips and lip marks on them. Possibly the same glasses? How lazy do you have to be to not check? That was bad enough, but then when I asked for my check (this time I did actually have to ask for it, I guess because they were busier), it took 40 minutes for the owner (the owner!!!) to bring it to me. She apologized and I gave her my card. After ANOTHER 40 MINUTES (Again, I'm not exaggerating), I had to go up to the bar and ask her if I could have my bill and my card back. This is the owner, so maybe this gives you an idea of how other employees treat their jobs. I have been to this place no less than 5 times, and it has been awful each and every time. My guess is that unless you become a regular, they care little enough about you that they don't care for your business and don't care if they're rude. I'll find somewhere else to go from now on. There's a nice chinese restaurant right down the way...
